Another crazy game for Allenton as they come back from the dead to secure a point in a game where they where also 5 minutes away from securing a historic first victory.
Allenton struggled against the wind first half which allowed Glasnaoin to dominate proceedings and secure a 3-0 half time lead which could have easily been four or five.
The second half was shaping up to be an exercise in damage limitation but Allenton, inspired by some super long range strikes by Jonathan Redmond coupled with Thomas Hogan finding the net and winning a penalty for Andre to coolly convert turned the game on it's head to lead 5-3 with ten minutes to go.
Unfortunately Glasnaoin rallied back with a goal and a penalty to send both teams home with a point which on balance was probably a fair result.
